This is a great value room in a house with historic character and modern upgrading.
Fully furnished in a house that has recently benefited from some upgrades, this house has a fresh feel, but classic character parts to it as well. Unlike more modern houses, it has some high ceilings, a sense of grandeur as you walk in to the house, and with the number of ensuite rooms, it's also a good ratio of bathrooms to residents.
There's some off road parking, and the house is within 15 minutes walking distance of the town centre. The usual bills are paid as part of the rent, including broadband.
The property is ideally situated close to the cross roads of Valley Road and Norwich Road. It takes about a minute to walk to Norwich Road bus stop where Ipswich Buses run services 9, 10 and 19 to and from the town centre. The service runs every 10 minutes between 6. 30am and 6. 30pm, then every 30 minutes until 11. 00pm.
Ipswich is served by train operator National Express, and has its main railway station on Burrell Road, a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, or a short bus or taxi ride away.
The station is on the InterCity main line to London, and has 3 direct services per hour running to the capital Monday - Saturday daytimes taking just over an hour to reach Liverpool Street station. There are also direct links to Colchester, Stratford, Bury St. Edmunds, Cambridge, Ely, Peterborough, Norwich, Felixstowe, Lowestoft and a large number of other places.
It takes just under 10 minutes to get to the A12/14, which is about 4 miles away.
