We must say, there’s a real buzz in the office as we prepare for the Tendring Show on Saturday 9th July. After a two-year pause, we cannot wait to be amongst the activity at Lawford House Park.
It’ll be the fourth time we’ve had a stall, and this year, we’ll be outside the Shoppers Marquee as a sponsor. If you’re wondering where we’ll be, we’re near the Hounds tent at the end of the President’s Ring.
As always, we love sponsoring the Shoppers Marque because it’s home to more than 30 independent local craftspeople. There’s every type of stall you can imagine, from handmade soaps and jewellery to wood-turned toys.
Raising money for Acorn Village
To keep the little ones entertained on our stall, there’ll be a fun activity (suitable for every age). Anna, our Bookkeeper, is already working on some ideas and we can’t wait to see what she has made!
We’ll also be raffling a hamper on the day, which we’ll be filling with goodies selected from other exhibitors.
Any money raised from the activities and raffle will be donated to Acorn Village, a charity close to our hearts. Placing ‘people’ first and ‘disability’ second, Acorn Village does an amazing job at caring for adults living with learning disabilities.
